CPL 2.0 - Twitter Assignment
After experimenting with Twitter I'm confident it is not something I would use. I don't have a lot of interest in stranger's inane comments about everything under the sun just to see their ideas in print. The comments posted on the library site I checked out seem to be mostly reminders (i.e. remember the library is closed on the Victoria Day holiday; remember this particular event on that particular day; hopefully I have other methods of remembering things that are important to me.

CPL 2.0 - Online Productivity Tools Assignment
After studying the Google Calendar option I don't think it is something I would be interested in using. I prefer the traditional (and practical) option of a paper calendar or daytimer, which can travel with me at all times. I personally don't choose to "share" my appointments with others and if I need to co-ordinate dates or events with someone else the phone or e-mail works just fine.

CPL 2.0 - Flickr & YouTube assignment
Flickr and YouTube are both very user friendly. The problem is the amount of time you could potentially spend on these sites since they can be very addictive. Flickr was very handy for me recently in order to share photos with friends from Victoria who travelled on a cruise with us.
CPL 2.0 - RSS assignment
Yes, I was able to successfully set up my RSS feed. It was easy and convenient to use.

CPL 2.0 - Google Earth Assignment
I spent some time playing around with Google Earth; I particularly enjoyed learning about scottish wildcats in Google Earth Community. It was a fun site to browse and come across different things I wouldn't normally look for. The photos were great. I would recommend Google Earth to all "browsers".

CPL 2.0 - Facebook Assignment
Learning to use Facebook was interesting but I don't think it is something I will use on a regular basis.
